Cyclades ACS Evaluation Guide

During the evaluation of the Cyclades ACS, the following are a few key features to
consider:


- Flexible configuration methods (GUI, Linux shell, Cisco Like Interface, SNMP)

- Offline data buffering with timestamp – local or remote (NFS or Syslog)

- Unlimited number of simultaneous sessions

- Integration with Cyclades PM remote power strips

- Local, RADIUS, TACACS+, LDAP, NIS and Kerberos authentication

- Group authorizations for RADIUS, TACACS+ and LDAP users

- User/Group access list per port

- Event syslog

- Event notification (email, pager, SNMP trap)

- Direct port access by TCP port, IP address or server name

- Alternative access interface using PC cards: modem (V.92 and ISDN), Ethernet, Fiber and Wireless (GSM, CDMA and GRPS)

- Modem dial back

- Virtual clustering for up to 1024 devices
