Synapsense Synapsoft 5.1

Overview

This solution provides real-time, complete data center monitoring and visibility, allowing data center managers and facilities operators to make changes to their floor plan and energy use, while reducing their risk of downtime and reducing energy costs. This ground-breaking, green energy solution is comprised of a complete wireless hardware and software solution set designed specifically for large and global data centers (5K-10K sq. ft. minimum).

LiveImaging™ maps and movies highlight your specific environmental conditions using real-time data at multiple levels of the data center, and provide a visual display of actual examples of thermal air mixing, subfloor temperature and pressure differential, humidity and dew point.

Rack Cooling Index (RCI)TM/SM RCIHITM/SM and RCILOTM/SM
Measure of the cooling effectiveness of IT equipment racks to ASHRAE levels

Rack Moisture Index Hi/Lo
Measure of the moisture content of cooling air to IT equipment racks to ASHRAE levels

Recirculation Air Ratio (RA)
Measure of the temperature rise in the cold aisle from re-circulating hot discharge air

Bypass Air Ratio (BPA)
Measure of the temperature decrease in the cold aisle from re-circulation hot discharge air

Air Loss Ratio (ALR)
Measure of the CRAC/CRAH air flow wasted due to recirculation and by-pass air
