Altusen Matrix KVM Switch

Altusen introduces a matrix KVM switch, KM0432, designed for IT administrators in large corporations. This switch offers advanced control of servers, yet is flexible enough for various other applications. It allows 4 users to directly control 32 computers simultaneously and independently. A maximum of 64 users and 4,096 computers can be connected through a combination of daisy chaining and cascading.

The RJ-45 CPU connections and Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) allow signals to travel up to 150 meters away and still maintain video resolutions; the need for KVM extenders is eliminated. All 32 ports are placed in a 1U-high case, which saves expensive real estate in an IT environment. This switch allows any type of console to control any type of computer, whether it is USB or PS/2. The users on the master KVM can access any computer, whether it is connected directly or through daisy chain/cascading. Users on local KVMs can access any computer connected to the local KVM, whether it is connected directly or through daisy chain/cascading.

It also has many other great KVM features such as Hot Keys, OSD, 3-level password security, hot pluggability, life firmware upgrade, keyboard and mouse emulation, “Keep Alive” feature, AutoScan, etc. It also supports multiple platforms (PC, Mac, Sun) through the use of CAT5 to PS/2, and CAT5 to USB adapters.

KA9120 PS/2 CPU Module for KM0432
The Altusen PS/2 CPU adapters connect CAT5 cables to the PS/2 console ports of the servers. Those adapters are light and in small form factor, fit perfectly into most of the rack-mount or desktop servers.

KA9170 USB CPU Module KM0432
The Altusen USB CPU adapters connect CAT5 cables to the USB console ports of the servers. Those adapters are light and in small form factor, fit perfectly into most of the rack-mount or desktop servers.

KA9220 PS/2 Console Module for KM0432
The Altusen PS/2 console stations connect CAT5 cables to PS/2 consoles (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). They allow users to control their PS/2 computers remote, up to 500' away from the KVM switch, and up to 1000 ft. away from the computer.

KA9270 USB Console Module for KM0432
The Altusen USB console stations connect CAT5 cables to USB consoles (keyboard, mouse, and monitor). They allow users to control their USB computers remote, up to 500' away from the KVM switch, and up to 1000 ft. away from the computer.
