The Avocent SPC420 device virtually eliminates the need for costly on-site visits or service calls to reboot or power cycle servers and other network devices at remote locations. For a total solution, couple the SPC420 device with the secure IP connection of DSView® 3 management software, and either Avocent DSR® KVM over IP switches or Cyclades® ACS advanced console servers.
The SPC420 power control device provides password protection, port-specific access rights and port groupings. DSR switches and ACS console servers enhance user security by adding authentication and multiple levels of data encryption.
