Mirapath donates to Cupertino School District

Cupertino, CA (May 3, 2010) – Mirapath, a data center and lab infrastructure solution provider, has joined the fight to help saves schools in Cupertino, CA by donating to the “Their Future Is Now!” campaign.

Currently, the K-8 school district is facing a $8.8 million deficit next year, because of state budget cuts and loss of federal stimulus money. With more than 100 teachers jobs on the line, organizers of the Cupertino Educational Endowment Foundation are asking each family to donate $375 toward their goal of raising $3 million by May 15.

Funds raised for this campaign will not only save jobs, but will also allow for smaller classrooms, summer school programs, the GATE program for gifted children and librarians.

The parents and business of the community have been proactive about raising more money for this campaign by having a Community Day where local businesses donate a portion of all sales to benefit 18,000 children in the community.

“Mirapath believes in education and cares about our community. In this time of crisis, we want to support the school district and will do what we can to give back.“ said Nick Pham, Mirapath’s Marketing and Business Development Lead. Mirapath has made a donation to the campaign which qualified the company as “Champion in Local Education“ and has actively participated in Community Day supported by 100+ local businesses in Cupertino and nearby communities.
