The first thing to do is download the new firmware from www.support.avocent.com and upload them to DSView by going to System > Appliance Files > Add.
After you can create a task by going to System > Tasks > Add. Enter a name for the task and pick “Upgrade Firmware on Selected Units” as Task Type. Choose “Run task now” for the frequency and click “Next”.

Continue to follow the wizard directions and the task will be created.
