Blue Server Deployment Power Calculator

How many servers can a 208V 30Amp feed support compared to a 208V 60amp 3 phase? Well, it depends.

We created a calculator that easily shows you how many servers a particular circuit can support, depending on the server power draw.

Note:

  1. We de-rated the circuit capacity by 80%.
  2. Assumed power factor of 1.
  3. Assumed 3 phase power is balanced.
  4. If using nameplate server power rating, the actual power draw can be 20%-50% less. Each server manufacturer has its own specifications.
