  1. 10 degree Fahrenheit increase in server inlet temperature results in 30% reduction in compressor power draw which translates to 21% reduction in cooling energy costs.
  2. Cooling systems can self-adjust based on temperature sensors and other surrounding cooling systems.
  3. Intelligent paralleling on UPS can improve system efficiency without sacrificing redundancy.
  4. Power monitoring can be done at the UPS power output level for level 1 PUE calculation. Monitoring at the room or row PDU allows for level 2 PUE calculation. Rack level monitoring provides the most accurate IT equipment consumption for level 3 PUE reporting.
  5. Battery failure is the leading cause of UPS system loss of power. There are predictive battery monitoring solutions that track the health of your batteries.
